User Experience of Windows Phone 8 with Nokia Lumia 920

User Experience of Windows Phone 8 with Nokia Lumia 920

A good example for phone display is to look for jagged edges, they are very visible even for 4.3 inch HD phones like Xperia Acro S, which has higher ppi than Apple I phone.   For those with above average vision there is always the antialiasing fog around some small letters, these are usually visible at above 300 ppi also for people with just normal vision, so how someone came up with this 300 ppi limit? I have no idea but for sure those people dont have the best eyes around, or they are slightly farsighted and not using corrective lenses. (nearsighted people can actually see this better than the average eye person can, being nearsighted has its advantages)

Till date,920 has the world's most advanced screen.just like its higher refresh rate is not easily visible to the eye,the 1080 p display doesn't make much of a diff to the current displays-thats just a feature companies can only boast at present, not much pretty usable.
As for Nokia 1080p display, wait for mws 2013 or wid wp8.x or wp9.

the whole "300 ppi is max!" reminds me of the discussions in the past on how many FPS we need to get perfect fluid motion and what is the MAX FPS we can perceive, some swear its just 72, but tests done on US Navy pilots showed that the human eye is capable of capturing single frames at 220 FPS!

220 fps. That is 3 times more than the previously claimed max fps. Could be same with ppi, its possible the real limit for ppi is closer to 900 then. Its easy to test anyway. Take a 300ppi phone and hold it 10 inches from your face, then at 20 inches, can you still see the jagged edges? If you can then 600 ppi is not enough (ref Apple and their Pixels Per Degree, 10 inch is the normal viewing distance for a cellphone, the PPD doubles by doubling the viewing distance)

Nokia or Samsung - hardy use phone ? whats the best Galaxy or Pure view 808- From user experience

I used to like Nokia once.
I admired some Nokias like E71, N73, N82, E72. But then Nokia started to cut corners by providing Plastic casing, No auto focus camera on E series, no imporvement in memory or processor speed for atleast 2 and half years.

I dumped Nokia and started using Android since 2009. Loved android in every aspect. I used many Android phones from HTC, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and LG. But I did bought N8 which was again a great phone. Lately I have been using Galaxy note. It just happened that I visited Nokia showroom to take a look at 808 and understand what 41 mpix hype was all about. When I held 808 in my hands and worked around Belle on 808, I was in love with 808.

Believe me, I never tried the camera yet. Working with Belle fp1 on 4" screen, 512 ram and 1,3 processor and with tough and solid built of 808 is an experience of life time. Never did Symbian Belle felt so smooth and great. I had Belle on N8 but 808 is different.

Store salesman was eager to show me around 808 camera and dolby digital plus sound which is a high mark of the unit. But I told him I want to work through the foundation before I reach the Balcony. I kept trying applications and loved every bit of 808. But when I tried the dolby sound through headphones and saw what camera was capable of.

I gave up. I had nowhere to run but to buy 808 and be a proud owner of this masterpiece. Never did Nokia felt so great. Now when I hold Galaxy Note in my hand I feel it as a cheap lightweight handset which does gimmicks. Many divx and xvid videos dont work smoothly on Galaxy Note but runs smoothly on Nokia 808, not to mention 1080 videos.

Nokia 808 is proving to be a true mobile experience for any technology lover.
Emails, microsoft Office documents, facebook, twitter, Whatsapp and so many others work at best.
Moreover you get one full day on a single charge which is a struggle with Android phones.

I am glad Nokia made limited units and if they stop making Symbian phones I would be the happiest person on earth because in future whenever people will talk about Symbian I will say I have a best Symbian device ever produced by any mobile company.

Nokia might leave Symbian on a high note (808) and move on with Windows 8 but I would be thankfull to Nokia for greatest gift of 808 to the mobile world.
On other hand if Nokia continues with Symbian line then I would expect Nokia to built even better models in years to come.

I will not stop using Android but I will keep Nokia 808 or whichever better model in future as my prime phone.

Nokia 808 is definitely a Gadget to own, cheer and relish

nokia c6 01 review

first of all i have to say that nokia c601 smart phone is and average phone , it has various price rates in different countries, n lot of price up and downs for the c6 01 in diffrerent shop. Normally in local shops nokia 60 01 price is higher than nokka 700 belle smart phone, which is a good phone and the only draw back is the screen size. It should be at least 3.5 inch also for the c6 01. Because the keypad is so small and the samsung galaxy people will laugh at u when they ask the price of your mobile phone. The internet speed of c6 phone is ok, it supports ten mbps speed anc 2mbps hsupa. And wifi connectivity. If you are using a c6 or what ever the nokia symbian phone the only choice you have is the opera mobile browser which is a good one, nokia brosef comming with nokia symbian is a very lower version and it does not support many of the wdb sites wirh advanced features such as blogger of wordpress and gmail ajax interface. Opera mobile is more compatible with most of these web sites. The other choise yoy have is to upgrade your nokia symbian phone to belle os which is better that complex android.
